By invitation of the Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, more than 40 German businessmen representing over 30 companies came to get acquainted with the economic and investment potential of Krasnodar region. The visit will last until March 4.
The delegation is headed by Michael Harms, the Board Chairman of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce.
The foreign guests will hold negotiations with the head of the region and visit a number of large enterprises.
The delegation participants have already got themselves familiar with the operation of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port. The prospective plans are to visit the plant "KLAAS" in Krasnodar, the regional distribution center "Tander", the greenhouse complex "Green line" and agricultural holding "Kuban" and OJSC "Garden-Giant".
For many years, Germany has been considered a strategic partner of Krasnodar region. About 30 enterprises with German capital are successfully operating in the region.
