Governor Veniamin Kondratyev: Krasnodar Region to take part in St Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026

The annual event will take place from 3 to 6 June 2026 at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre in Saint Petersburg.

The St Petersburg International Economic Forum is a key platform for attracting large-scale investment and advancing strategic projects. In 2026, around fifty agreements are set to be signed with the primary focus on developing the manufacturing, health resort and consumer sectors. As always, the Krasnodar Region will host its own pavilion at the forum, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the region’s investment potential while enjoying Krasnodar Region’s cuisine and wines. Last year, the Krasnodar Region signed agreements worth a record 470 billion roubles, setting the bar high. However, the main objective is not only to increase the volume of investment, but also to effectively convert it into new infrastructure, jobs, and a sustainable tax base for the region's further development,» said Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.

The region's dedicated pavilion will display a variety of themed artworks and local products. It will feature a presentation and business area, a meeting zone, and a conference hall with a capacity of 100 people. In 2025, the region signed agreements worth 470 billion roubles at the forum, spanning the health resort, agricultural, and manufacturing sectors. The projects include a hotel complex and a health resort in Sochi, a tourism cluster in Gelendzhik, three premium developments in Goryachy Klyuch, the Mostovsky District, and Kabardinka, three five-star hotels and a children's camp, as well as the renovation of a resort complex in Anapa.

The St Petersburg International Economic Forum is a leading platform for dialogue between governments, businesses, and public organisations. The event has taken place since 1997 and, since 2006, it has been held under the patronage of the President of the Russian Federation.
