The Krasnodar Territory is among the top ten leaders of investment growth

For 9 months, the growth was 7 per cent, or 494.9 billion rubles, and it is the highest rate since 2013.

«The Krasnodar Territory ranked 8th in the country in terms of total investment. These are the outcomes of the changes we have been working on for three years. We have built project support processes to make the Krasnodar Territory the most comfortable and hospitable region for business. Now, investors can receive information and services quickly and without any red tape,» said Vice-Governor Alexander Ruppel.

«We have focused our efforts on promoting municipalities to investors. We hold forums and training seminars where we share experiences in attracting investments and discuss measures to popularize state support. We have approved the municipal investment standard and introduced lean principles in everyday activities,» said Vasily Vorobyev, head of the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity of the region.

The Krasnodar Territory has stopped working under a template of other regions, and now is actively developing and promoting its own practices and solutions. Many regions of the country now look up to Kuban, the head of the department confirmed.

In the Southern Federal District, Kuban has traditionally been a leader in investment for many years. 50 per cent of the largest projects in terms of quantity and 40 per cent prgin terms of cost are implemented here.

Compared to 2022, the Krasnodar Territory has the largest investment activity in transportation and storage, processing industries, electricity, agriculture, and hotel services. An upward trend in investment attractiveness is observed in almost all types of economic activities.

Since the beginning of 2023, 100 large investment projects worth 150.7 billion rubles have been implemented in the Krasnodar Territory, and about 4.9 thousand new jobs have been created. Now, more than 510 projects worth 2.9 trillion rubles with the creation of 103 thousand new jobs are in the pipeline. These are unprecedented results.
